STP from 1st July 2019


STP was introduced on 1st July 2018 for the business with 20 or more staff. And now, STP is set to be rolled out in stages to smaller entities with less than 20 employees as at 1st July 2019.


How STP works


Each time you run your payroll and pay your employees, you will also send ATO your STP data (Wages, Tax Withheld and Super) from your payroll software. This will be done through a pay event.
